Allanah Lily & Ryley at 2011 Nationals
The 2011 AKF National Championships were held in Caloundra from 5th to 7th August, 2010. Over 550 athletes from all states attended. The championships was also the final selection tournament for the WKF World Championships, to be held in Malaysia in October 2010.
Kenseikan North Brisbane members, Allanah Schramm, Lily Neal and Ryley Robertson were on the Queensland Team.
While they did not medal, all displayed great fighting spirit in the Kumite events, with Allanah making it through to the bronze medal match.
They also performed well in the Kata events with Ryley making it to the bronze medal match.
Congratulations to all for representing Kenseikan at the 2011 Nationals.
Lily is to be congratulated for making the Australian Elite Team for 2012, based on her results for tournaments in 2011.
