Students with Medals
Kenseikan competed at the Mick Belletty Tournament in Beerwah on the 5th Nov 2011.
The tournament attracted 140 competitors from clubs in Brisbane, Sunshine coast and Northern NSW.
Twelve North Wavell students competed in both Kata and Kumite, with all medaling in their various events.
Ryley Robertson also won the Best Male competitor award, and Alannah Schramm won the Fighting Spirit award.
It was pleasing to see that most of the students medaled in both Kata and Kumite. This showed a good balance in their Karate training. A big thanks to Peter, Amie and Norm for coaching and officiating. Jon
