Lily Neal from Kenseikan Karate-do has been selected to compete at the Oceania Championships after she was one of six from the Kenseikan dojo to represent Queensland at the national championships in August.
Kenseikan Australia head instructor, Jon Rawlings said it was a fantastic achievement.
“Lily’s very competitive and always trains hard. She trains five nights a week and she has been training fore five years” he said.
“I think that one of her very good things is that she enjoys competing. She’s happy to compete but doesn’t get hung up about it”
Lily said that she would like to travel to the worls championships one day.
Well done Lily and best of luck.
