Lily Neal from Kenseikan Wavell Heights Dojo won Gold in the Female 12 yrs -50kg Kumite and also in the 13yrs Mixed Team Kumite at the recent Oceania Championships in Sydney.
On her way to 1st place in the individial Kumite event, Lily beat fighters from New Caladonia, Tahiti and New Zealand.
The Australian coaches picked her to fight in the Team Event due to her performance.
The team beat New Caladonia in the 1st round and New Zealand in the final.
Lily did not lose a match during the championships
